QuickSilver AAM
An OPEN SOURCE Win32 Alt.anonymous.messages Client
 for windows 2000/xp/vista/win7/win8/win10 & linux/wine

This program retrieves and decrypts incoming nym messages from the USENET newsgroup alt.anonymous.messages. It doesn't create or setup nyms or attempt to teach you nyms. You've setup your nyms with unique subject lines to appear a.a.m. The subjects you provided are modified by hashing (hsub) or encrypting (esub). This program will find your messages for you.

This is the official QuickSilver AAM download site. Though QSA can be distributed by anyone who cares to, you can be assured that this site provides the most recent version and that these files have not been modified or otherwise tampered with, by other parties. For a summary of features see this page: QuickSilver AAM Features.

IMPORTANT: Please notice, these files are designated as BETA releases. That means there are still bugs in the program. If you encounter any bugs please report them to 'bugs' or 'support' at this site. Please include instructions so I can reproduce the problem. Non-anonymous bug reports are always appreciated. Thanks.

There's been very limited testing on LINUX/WINE. Any testers helping on this OS will be greatly appreciated. If you report a bug, I'll undoubtedly need to work with you on it. NOTE: Wine doesn't yet support HTML Help. You need to get xChm. It's a Linux HTML Help viewer. With it you can browse the QSA help, just as if you clicked 'Help/Topics' on the QSA main menu.

FOR QSL USERS: This program requires QuickSilver Lite version 1.1.1 or higher. Unzip the QSA files directly into the QSL home directory.

The file you want is: QSAam-0.9b11.exe

OpenSSL NOTICE ***************************

Recent changes to OpenSSL require that if you use both QSL and QSA, you will
need to update both programs.

 NOTICE: New PGP Key (05-02-2017)

The files with exe extension are self extracting executables. They simply extract to the path given—either default (c:\qsl\) or that desired by the user. No registry or start menu entries are made. The files with zip extension are the same program, sans self-extractor. These can be manually unziped to any directory you wish. The sig files are PGP detached signatures and can be downloaded and checked against the corresponding distribution files. Quicksilver.asc is my PGP key for sig verification. When selecting files for download, choose the hightest version number available.

QS Lite keeps all its support files (mixmaster, gpg, eraser, etc) in it's home directory and is completely compatible and can co-exist with all other installations of QS, JBN, OM, Mixmaster, GPG, et al. It relies entirely on it's own included support libraries and programs.

Support is available via 'support' at this site.
